BC Technology for Learning Society
BC Tech is a registered charity that believes everyone should have equal access to technology and tools that facilitate learning.
Since 1994, they have been reusing and recycling donated computers and other tech devices through a 3-step process:
- Collect donated computers and other tech devices
- Trains and hires youth to refurbish the devices
- Distributes the devices to schools, non-profit organizations, libraries, Indigenous groups, and students
